The two main towns in the Sun Valley area are Ketchum & Hailey.
Ketchum (aka Sun Valley’s “downtown”) is very walkable, most everything within .5 miles. The smaller town of Hailey is about 12 miles south, and a bit more quaint.
There are many hotel options in the area, and of course ample Airbnb’s, etc. We’ve included some of our central Ketchum hotel recommendations further below, but we’re also very happy to suggest other options.
The Sun Valley area is a small and popular destination, and can get very busy even in late-summer/early fall, so we strongly suggest booking accommodations early (also most of our hotel discounts will decrease as occupancy goes up).
