While Sun Valley is not the easiest place to get to, we promise it's worth the trek. That said, we strongly encourage planning in advance!

Sun Valley Friedman Memorial Airport (small, local airport in Hailey)
Twin Falls Airport (~1.5h drive)
Boise Airport (~2.5h drive, largest nearby airport / most flight + price options)
Salt Lake City (~4.5h drive)
Getting Around The Valley
For maximum flexibility, and particularly if you plan to stay or explore outside of central Ketchum, we recommend renting a car.
Uber / Lyft is very limited in town. Last we heard, there is only one (maybe 2!) drivers in the entire area, so don't count on them.
If you need a taxi, we recommend contacting: A1 taxi (208) 726-9351, Woodriver Taxi (208) 788-8394, or Aardvark Taxi.
The Mountain Rides bus is free and can get you just about anywhere, including the airport, Hailey, downtown Ketchum, and Elkhorn.
If flying into Boise, we recommend either renting a car or reserving a spot on the Sun Valley Express Shuttle in advance. Please note that the shuttle from BOI to Sun Valley leaves at 3:30PM MST. The shuttle from Sun Valley to BOI leaves the Sun Valley Lodge at 8:25 AM MST or 8:45 AM MST from the Hailey Post Office.
